The Nigerian Tribune posted this news that all former officials in the nigerian government should receive allowances, even those who took power by force. Isn’t interesting coming from a “legislative house” that claims it seeks to propergate democracy.

I can undderstand the relevance of granting legitimate ex-leaders this honour but what is the rational at making it also available to those who took power by force against the conatitutionally provided means of Our dear David Mark, the senate president says he’s all sbout democratic values but yet again our leaders show once again that they all in it to protect their interest and that of their fellow like minded fellows. To group lawfully elected leaders with unlawfully elected ones is to me an insult to nigerians who voted these leaders into power and an insult to the dignity of past leaders. Today’s leaders have no trouble sleeping with the enemy no matter what the opinion of nigerians are, after all [as the popular phrase goes] “no leader has actually been elected by the people.

I often wonder why IBB has the boldness to do all that he does; which is the fact that he [IBB] knows that “all have sinned” and imagines who us worthy enough to prosecute him. Boy what a shame to the PROJECT NIGERIA, that our leaders can after all the talk of real change still behave in such a manner. This does not shock me but presses hard on my desire to believe in a change in Nigeria…
